Secondary Teacher (Science) - St Columban's College, Caboolture

Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) is seeking a dedicated Secondary Teacher (Science) for a full-time, fixed-term contract position at St Columban's College in Caboolture. This role is onsite and offers a salary of $86,601 - $124,725 per annum, plus 12.75% Superannuation. The contract period is from 3 August 2026 to the end of the 2026 school year, with work hours of 30.00 per week. The application closing date is 26 July 2026.

About the Opportunity:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Creating a learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and ordered learning environment aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents, and practices.
• Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy, evaluating their effectiveness, assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes to students, parents, and the community.
• Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers, and other staff members to contribute to the professional life of the school and foster a positive school culture.
• Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development.
• Ensuring that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
