A leading Australian tier 1 commercial builder, known for delivering complex, design-led projects across commercial, health, education, heritage, defence, and major precinct developments, is expanding its WA portfolio. The company is recognised for its innovation, collaborative culture, and commitment to quality outcomes.
An experienced Document Controller is sought for a new division, commencing with a $150 million project in the Northern Suburbs. This site-based role involves establishing a new business unit utilising Aconex, implementing site systems, and managing project documentation. The position requires ensuring documentation adheres to project procedures and timelines, while supporting project teams throughout the design and delivery phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a new business unit using Aconex.
- Manage all project documentation via Aconex.
- Maintain document registers, workflows, transmittals, and version control.
- Ensure documentation compliance with project procedures and timelines.
- Support project teams through design and delivery phases.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience as a Document Controller within construction, infrastructure, or engineering.
- Experience establishing Document Management Systems and Protocols on SharePoint and Aconex.
- High level of competency using Aconex.
- Experience working for a main contractor.
- Exposure to the design and delivery phases of projects.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail.
