Senior Records Management Consultant

Office of the Auditor General, Perth WA

Salary: L5 - $108,848 to $118,961 per annum plus superannuation. Work type: Full-time, permanent.

This role offers the opportunity to shape information management practices within the Office of the Auditor General (OAG). You will deliver practical solutions to enhance governance and decision-making, address complex information challenges, and lead the evolution of our Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).

Working across the organisation, you will influence information capture, usage, and trustworthiness. Your efforts will drive improvements that are both innovative and user-focused, directly contributing to enhanced organisational capability and ensuring our practices meet the standards expected in a high-scrutiny public sector environment.

Selection Criteria:

  • Customer-focused, with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic advice based on relevant legislation and standards.
  • Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and deliver practical solutions.
  • Strong information management expertise, including EDRMS administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and innovate systems or processes.
  • Ability to build capability in others through training, coaching, or mentoring.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time, permanent position. The recruitment process may be used to fill similar vacancies (permanent, fixed term, full-time or part-time) within 12 months of the process completion.
