Core Talent is seeking an experienced Senior Service Coordinator to join a Wet Fire service team situated in Chatswood. This dynamic role involves the coordination of technicians, management of planned and reactive maintenance, client liaison, and ensuring service delivery meets efficiency standards and compliance requirements. You will serve as a primary contact for customers and field staff, contributing to the smooth operation of daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the daily schedules for Wet Fire technicians.
- Manage reactive breakdowns and planned maintenance tasks.
- Allocate jobs considering priority, location, and technician availability.
- Monitor ongoing work to ensure completion within established timeframes.
- Liaise with clients, facility managers, and technicians regarding service requests and job status.
- Generate work orders, schedule subsequent works, and track outstanding defects.
- Review service reports and verify the correct completion of compliance documentation.
- Prepare quotations for repair and remedial works as needed.
- Assist with purchase orders, invoicing queries, and general service administration.
- Maintain precise job records utilising Uptick.
- Support the Service Manager with workflow planning and daily team coordination.
- Provide guidance and support to junior coordinators when necessary.
About You:
- Previous experience as a Service Coordinator within the fire protection industry is required.
- Strong understanding of Wet Fire maintenance and service operations is essential.
- Experience coordinating both preventative and reactive maintenance works is necessary.
- Uptick experience is required.
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload and adapt to changing priorities is necessary.
- Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are required.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and service management systems is necessary.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team is required.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Australian Standards relating to Wet Fire systems.
- Experience working with commercial maintenance contracts.
- Previous experience mentoring or supporting other coordinators.
