Service Coordinator
Esteemed Electrics is seeking a Service Coordinator to join our team.

Our operations are structured and system-driven, utilising Simpro for job management and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficiency. As we expand, we require an individual to manage daily job coordination and contribute to the smooth operation of the business.
The Role This is a hands-on coordination position with a focus on scheduling, prompt responses, and optimising technician productivity. You will be responsible for the efficient booking, planning, and execution of work, while maintaining a high level of customer communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling & Workflow Control
- Manage the daily schedule to ensure technicians are fully allocated.
- Book jobs and quote visits promptly upon receiving enquiries.
- Plan future work to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
- Confirm job details, access requirements, necessary materials, and notes prior to each day's work.
- Adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate changing priorities.
- Ensure all jobs progress without delay.
- Customer Communication
- Handle inbound enquiries via phone, email, and website, responding promptly.
- Book new work efficiently and professionally.
- Confirm appointments and provide customers with ongoing updates.
- Maintain a high standard of communication across all interactions.
- Technician Support & Coordination
- Collaborate closely with technicians to ensure smooth job progression.
- Assist with procurement, job preparation, and issue resolution.
- Provide clear job information, notes, and updates through Simpro.
- Escalate issues promptly to facilitate project advancement.
- Systems & Administration
- Manage jobs and workflow primarily within Simpro.
- Maintain an organised inbox and respond without delay.
- Utilise Office 365 (Outlook, Teams), SharePoint, and HubSpot CRM.
- Assist with invoice preparation and job close-out procedures.
- Maintain accurate and consistent job records and processes.
- Create, maintain, and enhance SOPs and documented processes to support consistent workflow and operations.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in scheduling or coordinating field staff, with experience in trade or service businesses being highly regarded.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs concurrently.
- Confident communicator with a focus on providing fast, clear responses.
- Comfortable working with multiple systems; Simpro experience is highly regarded.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or CRM systems such as HubSpot.
- Proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
- Based in Canberra and available to work from the office.
Hours & Flexibility
- 3 days per week, approximately 6 hours per day.
- Designed to align with school hours.
- Initial in-person training will be provided, followed by a hybrid working arrangement.
- Flexible start and finish times within the middle of the day.
Pay
- $35 – $40 per hour plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.
