Remuneration: Casual Teaching rate $91.42 per hour, or Non-Teaching rate $62.14 per hour, dependent on qualification and teaching experience.

About the Role:

As a Sessional Teacher – WHS, you will impart your Work Health & Safety expertise to educate the next cohort of safety professionals. This role involves delivering and assessing Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety programs within a dynamic, blended learning framework. You will facilitate engaging online evening classes (5:30pm - 8:30pm) and undertake occasional on-campus delivery. Working within a dedicated and industry-connected team, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality vocational training and competency-based assessments.
• Facilitating learning across online, classroom, and workplace settings.
• Supporting students with diverse learning needs to achieve successful outcomes.
• Contributing to learning design, assessment validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Sharing real-world WHS experience to illustrate safety practices effectively.

About You:

You are an experienced WHS professional with a passion for developing others and enhancing workplace safety outcomes.

Essential Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or higher).
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116/40110).
• Current industry experience in Work Health & Safety.

Highly Regarded:

• Experience in training and/or assessing.
• Experience with online or blended delivery methods.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate adult learners.
