SHOWROOM MANAGER – DESIGNER
Renov8 Warehouse is seeking a SHOWROOM MANAGER – DESIGNER for a full-time, on-site position at our new flagship Showroom & Design Centre in Laverton North. The salary offered is $120,000 – $160,000 per year.
Renov8 Warehouse is Australia's largest selection centre for cabinetry, stone benchtops, and bath/tapware. This is a unique opportunity to establish and lead a new flagship Showroom & Design Centre from its inception. As the first Showroom Manager, you will be responsible for defining the operational framework, shaping the customer experience, building and leading the team, and driving growth in both retail and trade sales, establishing the showroom as a key destination for homeowners, designers, builders, and developers across Melbourne.

As the Showroom & Design Centre Manager, your responsibilities will encompass leading customer experience initiatives, driving sales performance, cultivating trade relationships, managing showroom operations, and fostering a high-performing team culture.
About the Role: You will serve as the primary representative of our showroom and a key leadership figure within the company. Collaborating closely with customers, builders, designers, architects, and project managers, you will ensure every visitor receives an exceptional service experience while contributing to the growth of both retail and trade sales channels. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who excels in interior design, product knowledge, sales, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop showroom staff.
- Lead by example to cultivate a high-performance sales culture.
- Manage staff rosters and oversee daily operations.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused team environment.
- Sales & Business Development
- Drive showroom sales performance and profitability.
- Achieve and exceed sales and conversion targets.
- Build strong relationships with builders, architects, designers, developers, and project managers.
- Generate new trade and project opportunities.
- Follow up on leads and quotations to maximise conversion rates.
- Identify growth opportunities within retail and trade markets.
- Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service and consultation experiences.
- Assist customers with product selections and design solutions.
- Understand project requirements and guide customers through specification and selection processes.
- Manage customer enquiries, quotations, and project follow-up.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Showroom Operations
- Oversee daily showroom operations and presentation.
- Ensure displays, samples, merchandising, and product information are current and visually appealing.
- Monitor stock levels of samples, marketing collateral, and display materials.
- Marketing & Brand Development
- Support showroom events, product launches, and trade evenings.
- Collaborate with suppliers on product training and promotions.
- Assist with social media content and showroom marketing initiatives.
- Act as a brand ambassador within the building and design community.
- Reporting & Administration
- Monitor sales performance and key KPIs.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Maintain CRM records and customer databases.
- Analyse sales trends and recommend improvement strategies.
- Coordinate with operations, suppliers, and project teams.
