We currently have opportunities for site-based Site Administrators to join our active team. This full-time, onsite role in Karratha operates on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth. You will be responsible for project and site administration, as well as mobilisation activities. Reporting to the Supervisors on site, your duties will include:

  • Achieving all specified deadlines.

About Austral Construction

Austral Construction undertakes complex projects that others cannot, specialising in marine structures and intricate civil infrastructure. We self-perform challenging aspects of our work, meaning you will be actively involved in building capability, making decisions, and witnessing the tangible results of your contributions. As part of the Keller Group plc, we integrate global expertise with a practical Australian delivery approach.

The Opportunity

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting new starters by forecasting their requirements and preparing for their arrival.
  • Organising employment paperwork, medicals, and training as needed.

  • Arranging flights and accommodation for site personnel, visitors, and contractors.
  • Maintaining and updating weekly rosters and staff registers.
  • Managing timesheets and updating data for weekly wages.
  • Raising purchase order requisitions as required.
  • Negotiating with suppliers, following up on orders, and receiving deliveries.

You will be working on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, collaborating with experienced leaders and teams adept at delivering results in demanding environments.

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:

  • Must be based in Western Australia.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a mobilisation role, with demonstrated experience mobilising personnel to BHP and/or Rio Tinto sites.
  • Intermediate experience in data entry, and flight and accommodation bookings.
  • A high level of accuracy, with an aptitude for identifying potential disruptions in travel bookings and rosters.
  • Experience using Pronto or a similar ERP is desired, though not essential.
  • Friendly and professional customer service skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A team player capable of ensuring consistent workflow and smooth transitions between rosters and shifts.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, with a particular focus on Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience working with complex rosters will be favourably considered.
  • Australian work rights are required for this position.

What You'll Receive

  • A strong salary package including a 41% site uplift and leave loading.
  • Exposure to technically challenging, career-defining projects.
  • Long-term opportunities within a growing business supported by global expertise.
  • A team that values hard work, direct communication, and safe execution.
  • Real responsibility in your role.
