About the Role
The Surgical Service Group at Townsville University Hospital has exciting opportunities for a Specialist Executive Support Officer. This role involves providing a high level of confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Clinical Directors of Surgical Units within the Surgical Services Group. You will liaise with Service Group and other senior department staff to ensure an effective and efficient support service to the surgical units.

Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range: $79,272 to $88,158 p.a. (AO3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements
- Demonstrated high standard of administrative and secretarial skills, including the ability to prepare complex documents, agendas, minutes, action sheets, and draft replies to correspondence. Advanced computer skills utilising appropriate software are essential.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads with competing deadlines whilst working autonomously.
- Demonstrated skills in the use of word processing and spreadsheet applications, and hospital information systems including S4 Hana, Springboard, and myHR. An ability to acquire knowledge of other computer applications and databases is also required.
