Sports Administration Officer
Faith Lutheran College Redlands is looking for a dependable and organised Sports Administration Officer to join our College community.
This School Officer role will support the Director of Sport with administrative and clerical tasks. You will report to the Principal through the Director of Sport. This is a full-time position, requiring 76 hours per fortnight. The role is onsite at Victoria Point and is expected to commence in Term 3, 2026.
Duties
- Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Sport for college-wide sports activities.
- Communicate professionally with families, students, coaches, and external sports providers.
- Promote achievements within the college's sports programs.
- Maintain connections with community and school sport associations, including attending meetings such as AGMs if required.
- Support the planning and execution of the daily operations of the sporting program.
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of College carnivals and sporting events.
- Coordinate club sports programs, which includes preseason sign-ups, registrations, training bookings, and liaising with coaches and associations.
- Manage transport bookings for sports activities and events.
- Coordinate payments to coaches with the College Business Office, adhering to College policies and procedures.
Key Skills and Experience
- First Aid certification, or a willingness to obtain one.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use a computerised administration database system, preferably TASS.
- Proactive, flexible, and demonstrates initiative.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Hold a Paid Positive Notice Blue Card issued by Blue Card Services, Department of Justice and Attorney-General.
