State Logistics Manager
Blackbook Executive is seeking a State Logistics Manager for a full-time, onsite position in Perth WA.
We are partnering with a prominent national wholesale and distribution organisation that supports customers via an extensive Australian branch and distribution network. This organisation requires an experienced logistics leader to manage its Western Australian warehouse and transport operations.
This is a pivotal leadership position focused on achieving operational excellence, guiding effective teams, and ensuring superior service within a complex distribution network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete warehouse and transport operations for Western Australia.
- Promote safety, operational excellence, and a culture of ongoing improvement.
- Deliver top-tier customer service through strong DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time) and operational results.
- Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse and transport leadership personnel.
- Enhance warehouse productivity, transport efficiency, and inventory precision.
- Manage operational budgets, labour allocation, and performance indicators.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams to meet business goals.
- Identify and implement process enhancements to boost productivity, service, and cost outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, transport, and operational standards.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale warehouse and transport operations within a complex distribution setting.
- Substantial operational leadership experience, with the capacity to engage and develop high-performing teams.
- Proven success in enhancing safety, service, productivity, and operational performance.
- Experience managing high-volume distribution operations encompassing both warehousing and transport.
- Commercial acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across various business functions.
- Experience in wholesale, retail, industrial, FMCG, manufacturing, or other intricate supply chain environments will be highly regarded.
