Store Manager - Burrum Heads IGA (New Store Opening)

O'Connell Retail Group is looking for an energetic and motivated retail leader to be the first Store Manager for the new Burrum Heads IGA, opening in December 2026. About the Role The Store Manager will hold a central position in the pre-opening phase and will be accountable for:

• Recruiting, training, and developing the team.
• Overseeing all daily store operations.

• Managing labour, inventory, and store standards.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Maintaining merchandising and presentation standards.
• Establishing strong community connections.

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with:

• Prior experience in supermarket or retail management.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A dedication to customer service and community-based retailing.
• Experience in managing store performance and key business metrics.
• A positive outlook and a readiness to lead by example.

Experience within IGA, Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, FoodWorks, or comparable retail settings will be highly regarded.
