Store Manager – Carindale
Jo Mercer is seeking a Store Manager for their Carindale location. This is a full-time, onsite position.
This role presents an opportunity to advance the store's performance. We are looking for a natural leader who is enthusiastic about team collaboration and development, and dedicated to delivering a memorable shopping experience for customers.
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for all facets of store operations, including profitability, staff training, customer service, and maintaining brand consistency. Your capacity to lead, coach, and inspire your team will be essential for continued success in this dynamic retail setting. This is a chance to shape a high-performing team, take ownership of the store, and guide the team while expanding your own shoe collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create an empowering team environment to achieve outstanding results.
- Manage daily operations, including stock management and visual merchandising.
- Ensure compliance with OH&S and company policies.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience and cultivate a loyal customer base.
- Initiate and implement strategies to meet KPIs and drive improvements.
- Recruit team members as needed.
- Foster a supportive and engaging environment for the team.
What we ask you to bring to the role:
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a minimum of 3 years' previous experience managing a team.
- Proven ability to engage and motivate your team to achieve KPIs.
- A passion for retail and providing superior customer experiences.
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
- Competency in stock management and operational efficiency.
- An abundance of energy, positivity, and the ability to build strong team dynamics.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work a Tuesday to Saturday roster, with flexibility to alter your roster up to 5 times per year.
