Crowies Paints, established in 1996, is a prominent and respected name within the Australian paint sector, operating over 33 specialist stores across SA, Vic, Qld, and NSW, distributing leading Architectural, Industrial, Protective, and Marine Coatings. A Store Manager position is available at our Blackwood location.

This opportunity is for a motivated sales professional, preferably with prior experience in the paint industry. The role is suited for an individual with strong account management and operational capabilities, seeking a long-term career within a stable and advancing organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete operational management of a Trade, Retail, Industrial, Protective & Marine Coatings paint store.
• Demonstrate flexibility, self-motivation, and a commitment to high standards of customer service.
• Possess strong technical knowledge of architectural, industrial, and protective paint systems.
• Engage with the local building and construction industry by tracking projects.
• Enhance the company's profile through involvement with community-focused organisations.
• Monitor and report on local competitor activities to Crowies Paints management.
• Collaborate with Crowies Paints' strategic supply partners to align on new business targets and contribute to store budget achievement.
• Manage, coach, and develop staff to ensure performance aligns with key company objectives and standard operating procedures.

Skills and Experience:

• A demonstrated track record of achieving sales growth while managing operational expenses will be highly regarded.
• This role requires a high-calibre applicant.
• Paint industry experience is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in Trade/Retail/Hardware industries or related building sectors will be highly considered.
• High-level written and oral presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
