The Role
We are looking for a dynamic Store Manager to lead our Highpoint Homemaker, Maribyrnong store. This role involves driving sales, leading and developing a high-performing team aligned with our core values, and creating memorable customer experiences. It is an opportunity to contribute to a growing brand and lead by example in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of overall store performance.
- Drive sales and profit, and control costs to achieve KPIs.
- Foster a customer-centric culture to deliver a warm, helpful, and exceptional customer experience.
- Provide inspirational leadership and training to develop the team for outstanding results.
- Lead, coach, and develop the retail sales team to achieve targets and build a high-performing team.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximise sales and customer service targets, thereby driving store performance.
- Act as a product knowledge expert and live our company values.
- Adhere to all company behaviours, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure a clean, tidy, and safe work environment, adhering to OH&S principles.
Who We Are Looking For
We seek individuals with a strong retail background, commercial acumen, and a passion for customer service. You should thrive in a team environment and be adept at bringing out the best in people, bringing energy, resilience, and a hands-on approach.
- 5+ years of retail management experience.
- A drive and innate passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- A reputation for a collaborative and approachable style, with the ability to deliver results.
- Demonstrated experience leading and coaching teams.
- Ability to manage budgets, drive KPIs, ensure compliance, interpret/create reporting, and generate efficient and compliant rosters.
- Honesty, integrity, and open communication.
- An uncompromised work ethic, commitment to adding value, and a willingness to get the job done.
- As this is a furniture store, the role involves regular manual handling of products, including lifting, carrying, and moving items of varying sizes. Applicants must be physically capable of safely performing these tasks.
