Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 + Super Work type: Full-time Location: Onsite

As the Store Manager at Sydney Tools, you will be the primary driver of branch performance, leading your team from the front lines on the store floor. Your role is to set the benchmark for our Trade Quality reputation, ensuring the store operates with high stock levels and efficiency, while delivering an optimal experience for every tradesperson. This is a dynamic, high-volume setting that requires robust leadership, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the trade customer. You will also be instrumental in expanding the local trade customer base, fostering relationships, and cultivating enduring customer partnerships.

The Role: You will assume responsibility for all aspects of branch performance, including:

• Driving Sales Growth: Spearheading sales initiatives and identifying emerging trade and business prospects within the local market.
• Team Leadership: Cultivating, mentoring, and developing a high-achieving team culture.
• Account Management: Enhancing connections with key trade clients to foster repeat business and loyalty.
• Operational Excellence: Overseeing stock management, merchandising standards, and daily store operations to guarantee a smooth customer journey.

What You’ll Bring:

• Demonstrated leadership experience within retail, trade, or high-volume environments, with a proven ability to develop teams.
• Strong sales proficiency and a consistent history of meeting and surpassing KPIs and targets.
• Operational knowledge encompassing stock control, inventory management, and retail presentation standards.
• A commercial mindset capable of identifying opportunities and converting them into sustained business relationships.
• Flexibility to operate within a 7-day trading schedule, including the requirement to work one weekend day as needed.
