Store Manager The Athlete's Foot Ryde Full-time, 38 hours per week, on-site

This position is for a full-time Store Manager at The Athlete's Foot in Top Ryde. The role involves leading a high-performing team and offers an opportunity for an experienced retail leader focused on people, performance, and positive impact. In collaboration with your Area Manager, you will drive operational performance, enhance customer service, and cultivate community connections extending beyond the store.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations, including sales, KPIs, visual merchandising, stock management, and shrinkage.
• Motivate and develop your team to meet business targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Manage wage budgets and rosters according to company standards and GRIA guidelines.
• Support team development through training, coaching, and succession planning.
• Foster a positive store culture centred on results, learning, and wellbeing.
• Engage the community through sporting partnerships and healthcare relationships.
• Ensure OH&S compliance with national and state requirements.

Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience as a Store Manager or Senior Assistant Store Manager in a fast-paced retail setting.
• A confident, hands-on approach with a passion for leading by example.
• Experience in developing high-performing teams and instilling a culture of success.
• Proficiency in operational areas such as rostering, wage control, visual merchandising, and stock management.
• Strategic thinking abilities and the capacity to identify improvement opportunities.
• Skill in building effective relationships with support office teams and local partners.
