Darwin Carpets & Vinyls Pty Ltd, a prominent flooring contractor in Darwin, Northern Territory, is seeking a dependable and motivated Store Person / Delivery Driver. We specialise in supplying and installing diverse flooring products for clients across the Northern Territory and northern Australia. This hands-on position integrates warehouse responsibilities with local deliveries, providing a varied role and a crucial contribution to our daily operations.

The Position

Key responsibilities include:

• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Receiving and verifying incoming stock.
• Maintaining and updating computerised stock records.
• Ensuring warehouse organisation and cleanliness.
• Performing stocktakes and inventory control.
• Conducting safe and professional deliveries to customer locations.
• Providing excellent customer service during all delivery interactions.
• Adhering to workplace health and safety procedures.

Candidate Profile

Essential qualifications and attributes:

• A current Australian HR Driver’s Licence.
• A Forklift Licence.
• Good physical fitness, with the capacity for manual handling tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in computer use.
• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or delivery capacity is preferred.
