Opportunity Overview

Michael Kors is seeking an energetic and motivated retail professional to step into a Store Supervisor (3IC) role. This position is ideal for an individual passionate about working with people, keen to develop leadership skills, and eager to collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve store success. The role offers a chance to further develop retail management experience and assume increased responsibility.

As a Supervisor, you will be integral to supporting the Store Manager, coaching and inspiring the team, delivering exceptional client experiences, and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the store. Your contributions will be key to driving business results, maintaining operational excellence, and cultivating a positive, high-performing team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development: Drive sales performance and support key business strategies.
• Team Leadership: Motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
• Client Experience: Build meaningful relationships and deliver luxury customer service.
• Customer Relationship Management: Grow and nurture the client database, supporting in-store events and activations.
• Store Operations: Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards, manage inventory, and oversee overall store presentation.

About You

We are looking for a passionate retail professional eager to learn, grow, and support our Store Manager in driving store success.

Requirements and Qualifications

• 2–4 years of retail experience, with previous senior sales or leadership experience highly regarded.
• A genuine desire to develop leadership and retail management skills.
• An understanding of specialty retail, including store operations, visual merchandising, and commercial performance.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Team-oriented approach.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and developing long-term client relationships.
• Confidence using retail systems and computer applications.
• Permanent working rights in Australia.

Employment Details

• Work Type: Full-time, 38 hours per week.
• Hours: Sunday to Thursday.
• Location: Michael Kors DFO Essendon store.
• Salary: Attractive Remuneration + Monthly Incentive.
