About the Role We are seeking a dependable Storeperson to join our warehouse team at the Port of Brisbane. This is a hands-on position involving the safe and accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of customer orders. You will collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to maintain stock organisation and ensure timely order dispatch.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks via forklift.
- Receiving, counting, and checking incoming goods.
- Verifying deliveries against orders and associated paperwork.
- Labeling and safely storing products.
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Completing shipping and transport documentation.
- Coordinating collections with transport providers.
- Assisting with stocktakes and inventory control.
- Inputting receiving, dispatch, and stock information into the warehouse system.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area.
Requirements
- A current Australian forklift licence.
- Current Chain of Responsibility training.
- Previous experience in stores, warehouse, or dispatch roles.
- Comfortable using computers and warehouse or inventory systems.
- Good attention to detail when checking stock and paperwork.
- A reliable and safety-focused approach.
- The ability to organise your workload and meet dispatch deadlines.
- Must currently hold full, unrestricted working rights in Australia. Employer-sponsored visa support is not available.
Experience with Epicor or another ERP system, along with a warehousing or logistics qualification, would be helpful but are not essential.
