Cavpower is seeking a dedicated individual to join the team as a Storeperson at the advanced Parts Centre in Gepps Cross. This role offers unique schedules to accommodate different preferences. The primary function of a Storeperson involves the precise and efficient handling of parts and components, encompassing receipt, storage, and dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack parts and components, verifying correct items, quantities, and packaging for dispatch.
- Provide prompt and timely delivery of parts to internal and external customers, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service.
- Participate in Contamination Control and Quality Assurance procedures within the warehouse.
- Meet and exceed required targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for picking and packing operations, contributing to productivity and efficiency.
- Undertake general warehousing duties, including stock organisation, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety protocols.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in warehouse and distribution operations.
- Experience with Caterpillar is desired but not essential.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Possession of a valid forklift license.
- Possession of a valid LO license.
- A strong understanding of stock control methods.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective liaison with team members, customers, and suppliers.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, adapting to changing priorities and working efficiently under pressure.
