Cummins Inc. is seeking a full-time Storeperson for our new facility at Perth Airport. We specialise in heavy vehicle repairs and maintenance for mining, on-highway, and power generation products. Responsibilities:

• Picking and Packing Parts:
• Utilise RF scanners for goods dispatch transactions.
• Operate hand-powered trolleys for 80% of tasks.
• Operate forklifts for 20% of tasks.
• Unpacking and Putting Away Parts:
• Utilise RF scanners for goods receipt transactions.
• Operate hand-powered trolleys for 80% of tasks.
• Operate forklifts for 20% of tasks.
• Consigning Parts:
• Create consignments and book transport.
• Perform 80% keyboard data entry.
• Perform 20% hands-on work moving boxed items.
• Delivery of Parts to Internal Customers:
• Utilise forklifts or PIVs 100% of the time to move parts between workshops and the warehouse.
• Other Tasks:
• Participate in training and safety meetings.
• Perform general cleaning activities for 30 minutes daily.
• Undertake daily inventory management tasks.

Requirements:

• A current High Risk Forklift licence is preferable but not essential.
• A WA driver’s licence.
• Flexibility to work reasonable overtime as required.
• Previous warehousing/stores experience is preferred but not essential; on-the-job training is available for suitable applicants.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role as part of a team would be beneficial.
• Ability to work unsupervised and commit to undertaking all work safely and efficiently.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
