Galipo Food Co. is seeking a full-time Storeperson to join its team in Dry Creek. This onsite role involves the efficient and safe operation of the company's cold and ambient storage facilities. The position requires an early morning start at 3 am. As a key member of the warehousing and distribution team, you will contribute to the seamless movement of goods and the maintenance of product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment for product movement and storage within the cold storage facility.
• Inspecting incoming and outgoing goods to verify quality standards.
• Assisting with the unloading and loading of delivery trucks.
• Stacking products in cold stores, ensuring correct pallet spacing and labelling.
• Adhering to all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Organising stock for despatch.
• Accurately packing stock.
• Product picking within a chiller environment.
• Performing repetitive manual handling tasks.

Requirements:

• A relevant AQF Certificate II qualification or equivalent; alternatively, 1 year of relevant work experience can substitute this.
• A forklift licence and demonstrated experience in the safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
• The ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions.
