Toll Group is seeking a Storeperson Grade 3 to join their Defence Theatre Logistics (DTL) team in Wulguru, Queensland. This full-time, onsite role is integral to supporting Australia’s Defence capability through the Defence Theatre Logistics contract.

Role Overview: This position involves supporting warehouse operations, inventory control, freight handling, and the secure movement of Defence-related equipment and materials. The role operates within a fast-paced, safety-focused environment at Lavarack Barracks in Wulguru, QLD, where accuracy, accountability, reliability, and teamwork are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Manage inventory, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distributing Defence equipment, supplies, and materials.
• Perform tasks under the supervision of a Team Leader, ensuring compliance with Toll Government & Defence contractual requirements, Defence regulations, safety protocols, and operational standards.
• Maintain strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a commitment to a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
• Receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch Defence equipment and supplies.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Utilise warehouse systems for stock accuracy and report actions.
• Uphold safety standards, site cleanliness, and compliance with Defence regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to meet operational targets.
• Work outdoors to deliver stores and equipment to Defence personnel in the field.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Australian Citizen.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Defence Security Clearance (Baseline level or higher).
• Preparedness to undertake pre-employment checks, including criminal history, medical, and other background assessments.
• Current forklift license.
• LO License (preferable but not essential).
• HR Truck License (advantageous).
• Experience in warehousing, logistics, or related industries (desirable but not essential).
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
• A safety-first mindset.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting and Team Structure: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Storeperson will work closely with Team Leaders.
