Normet is seeking two proactive and personable Storepersons to join our team in Midvale. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, which includes accurately receipting and dispatching spare parts and other materials. To Shine in This Position, You Will Need:
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish effective working relationships with key internal and external clients.
- 3 years’ experience in a Storeperson, Warehouse, or Logistics role.
- Experience performing receipting, dispatching, and warehouse maintenance administration using an ERP system; MS Dynamics D365 is highly regarded.
- Ability to process purchase and sales orders efficiently.
- A current forklift license is essential.
- A current driver’s license.
- Attention to detail with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude, be self-driven and results-orientated.
- Be a good team player with the willingness to help and support team mates.
- The ability to work well in a team and unsupervised.
- Essential to be available for the Call Back Roster.
- Logistics and/or Warehousing is desirable but not essential.
- Full working rights in Australia is essential.
The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance before commencement.
Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and dispatch all orders accurately and securely.
- Perform receipting, dispatching, and warehouse maintenance administration using our ERP system.
- Ensure correct Serial & Batch numbers are recorded in the ERP system when receipting into stock.
- Ensure all sales and transfer orders are picked within the required timeframe.
- Ensure inventory is presented appropriately, with stock items in good condition and contamination and corrosion free.
- Conduct a cyclical stock take once a week.
- Notify management of any stock discrepancies or urgent issues.
- Respond to spare parts and sales enquiries from clients when on the ‘on Call Roster’.
