About the role: We are seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our team in Brendale. This is a full-time, onsite position, with standard hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. We are open to discussing these arrangements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving goods and maintaining accurate records.
- Unpacking and checking deliveries.
- Providing signed delivery dockets to the Site Manager for ERP system receipt.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Safely and efficiently moving goods onto storage shelves or racks.
- Planning and maintaining efficient stock layouts in conjunction with the Site Manager.
- Performing inventory management, including cycle counts and participating in stocktakes as required.
- Picking, packing, and dispatching completed orders to customers.
- Meeting the pick and pack accuracy goals set by the Site Manager.
- Booking and managing delivery bookings with third-party couriers.
- Delivering customer orders to site using Trafalgar vehicles, if required.
- Updating computer records once orders have been shipped.
- Maintaining good housekeeping practices.
- Greeting and serving customers and couriers in a friendly manner.
- Undertaking ad-hoc duties as required.
- Adhering to the company’s Workplace Health and Safety and Quality policies and procedures, and proactively ensuring a safe and healthy worksite for yourself and others.
About you: We are looking for an individual who can bring the following skillset to Trafalgar:
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- A forklift licence is desirable (assistance to obtain may be provided).
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
- A desire to learn about the product range (on-the-job training will be provided).
- Sound computer skills and MS Office proficiency are desirable.
- A friendly, can-do attitude.
