This is a stores-focused role involving local deliveries, operating Monday to Friday for 38 hours per week. The pay rate is $35 per hour, plus Superannuation and Penalties. There is an opportunity to transition to a permanent position with the Client.

About Our Client Our client is a well-established air-conditioning and electrical wholesaler. Their Darwin branch also has significant involvement in the refrigeration industry, servicing a broad spectrum of commercial and trade customers throughout the Northern Territory. The business is recognised for its robust branch support and a customer-centric philosophy.

What You Will Be Doing This role is predominantly stores-based, contributing to daily warehouse operations. It includes some local deliveries utilising the branch ute. The position is physically demanding and suitable for individuals comfortable with manual handling within a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities include:

• General stores and warehouse duties
• Receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching stock
• Forklift operation and safe stock handling
• Manual handling and positioning of stock (with MHE support)
• Local customer deliveries
• Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse
• Supporting overall branch operations

What You Will Need

• Forklift Licence
• Previous stores or warehouse experience
• Manual Driver’s Licence
• Reach truck experience (preferred)
• Mechanically capable and physically fit for manual handling tasks
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Good attention to safety and procedures
