Supply Hub Operator

Qube is seeking a Supply Hub Operator to join a small team at the QE North West Supply Hub in Karratha. This onsite, full-time role operates within a controlled environment, focusing on the safe and efficient operation of mobile plant. The position involves inventory management, including picking, packing, and associated duties, with training provided to utilise SAP. Loading, unloading, and managing cargo are also key responsibilities to meet customer requirements.
The roster for this position is 14 days on, 14 days off. Please note this is a local position, and FIFO applicants will not be considered.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Perform system transactions for Goods Receipt, Putaway, Preserve, Pick, Pack, and Ship materials based on demand.
- Maintain individual accountability for the accuracy of inventory transactions.
- Process returns with the same level of diligence as outbound materials.
- Demonstrate proficiency in inventory management and relevant Microsoft systems.
- Safely and efficiently operate material/cargo handling equipment, including forklifts ranging from 3 to 48 tonnes.
- Collaborate with a small team to ensure the safe and efficient flow of transport through operational yards.
- Reposition containers within the yard as required.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and punctually.
- Care for and manage equipment and assets under your control.
- Communicate effectively and maintain a solutions-focused approach.
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace by adhering to 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain).
- Operate equipment and machinery with care and in a safe manner.
- Safely load and unload trucks of various configurations and sizes within required timeframes, ensuring correct material receipt and adherence to manual handling practices.
- Undertake any other reasonable task within your capability, skill set, and training.
- Adhere to the principles of Chain of Responsibility.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Specialised systems knowledge.
- Computer literacy, with experience in MS Office.
- A current Australian driver’s licence (car).
- A current Forklift Licence (LF).
- Current reach stacker competency.
- Chain of Responsibility qualification.
- Certificate III or IV in Supply Chain/Logistics is desirable.
- Dogman licence.
- Dangerous Goods awareness and qualification in the transport of DG by road, air, and sea is desirable.
