TAFE Queensland is seeking expressions of interest for casual, temporary full-time, and part-time Teacher positions in Transport and Logistics within the South West Region. This listing is for a talent pool, with opportunities becoming available as needs arise.

Salary
- Casual Teacher: $115.33 gross per hour
- Teacher (full-time equivalent): $92,930 - $116,332 gross per annum (based on the TAFE Queensland Educators Certified Agreement 2023)

Mandatory Requirements Applicants must possess either TLI31222 Certificate III in Driving Operations or TLI30325 Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations, or equivalent vocational competency at least at the level being delivered and assessed.
Applicants must also possess:
- Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided.
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that inform the training and assessment provided.
- Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of vocational training, learning, and assessment, including competency-based training and assessment.
- Current Queensland Driver’s Licence.
- Current Blue Card or Exemption Card (or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement) to comply with the Working with Children Check Act 2000.
Additionally, to be considered for a TAFE Teacher role, you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials:
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor; or
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
- TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; or
- TAE50111 or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or
- TAE50211 or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development; or
- A secondary teaching qualification and one (1) of the following credentials:
- TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor; or
- TAESS00011 or TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor; or
- A higher-level qualification in adult or vocational education (approved by TAFE Queensland).
Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience is required at the interview stage.
Note: Teaching experience is not a prerequisite, as suitable candidates may receive training and development through coaching, mentoring, and partnering. Emphasis is placed on possessing the appropriate qualifications, industry experience, and a positive attitude. Highly Desirable Candidates with a high level of digital literacy skills will be highly regarded.
