TasTAFE Hobart TAS full-time, onsite Salary: $88,536 to $118,059 + super + Generous Leave

The Role

As an ICT Teacher at our Campbell Street Campus in Hobart, you will provide students with practical IT skills essential for designing, building, and maintaining modern IT infrastructure. You will guide learners through subjects including Routing, Switching, Virtualisation, Cloud, Cyber, and Sysadmin.

Your daily activities will include:

• Configuring and optimising engaging lesson plans that meet compliance standards.
• Upgrading outdated resources to ensure content reflects current industry-standard tools.
• Maintaining up-to-date skills in emerging ICT technologies.
• Mentoring learners as they build and troubleshoot networks, servers, and workstations.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

What You Bring

• A strong passion for teaching and assessing, supported by solid expertise in networking, system administration, and cyber fundamentals.
• Current knowledge of the latest networking and infrastructure technologies.
• A problem-solving approach to ensure smooth operations without configuration issues.
