Job Details
GOTAFE has an opening for a Teacher Senior Secondary, working two days per week. In this role, you will leverage your teaching and vocational expertise to ensure positive outcomes for learners in VCE-VM subjects, including Literacy, Numeracy, Personal Development Skills, and Work Related Skills, as well as VPC. Your contribution will benefit the students, their communities, and their future employers.
GOTAFE offers the opportunity to forge meaningful connections with students, facilitated by small class sizes of 10-15. Requirements for this role include:
- Victorian Institute of Training (VIT) Registration (preferred), or an ITE-accredited qualification (such as a Bachelor of Education) and the ability and willingness to obtain VIT registration.
- Alternatively, currently studying towards or working towards an ITE-accredited qualification.
- A professional qualification in any field, coupled with experience working in a school environment.
- A current Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE) Qualification is preferred.
- Experience in delivering secondary education.
- High-level interpersonal skills.
If successful, you will be required to provide:
- A current Police Check (issued no more than 6 months prior to the commencement date).
- A current Victorian Working with Children Check - Employee (or evidence of application).
- A current Driver’s Licence (Car).
The salary for this position ranges from L1.1 to L3.5 under the Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement.
