MacDonnell Regional Council is seeking a Team Leader for Children's Services in Papunya. This full-time, fixed-term position extends until 30 June 2027, with a possibility of extension.

Remuneration and Benefits:

• Salary: Commencing at $81,185 per annum.
• Superannuation: 12% employer contributions.
• Annual Leave: 6 weeks of annual leave with 17.5% leave loading.

The Role: This is a pivotal opportunity to lead childcare services and ensure their smooth operation. As the nominated supervisor, you will be responsible for providing and developing high-quality, culturally relevant Early Childhood Education for children from birth to school age.

This position is located in Papunya. A relocation allowance and community-based housing are available for non-local applicants.

Requirements:

• Completed or working towards a Certificate III level qualification in Early Childhood, with a commitment to work towards a Diploma in Early Education and Care.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or a childhood setting.
• Experience in leading and managing teams.
• Adaptability, collaboration, and a passion for making a difference.
• Understanding of Aboriginal culture or a willingness to learn is essential.
