This role requires you to be uniquely yourself. You will utilise strong analytical and numerical capabilities to assist our trading teams. Your focus will be partnering with suppliers within either the Wine, or Beer & Cider categories to maximise value across our brands.

The Trade Partner Lead offers essential analytical support to the Senior Commercial Manager, with the objective of maximising value from supplier partnerships. Key responsibilities include monitoring supplier performance, verifying compliance with commercial terms, and optimising inventory and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). You will translate data into actionable insights to enhance margin delivery for the trading teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse COGS models to track and identify opportunities for margin improvement through enhanced supplier terms.
• Provide analytics to evaluate inventory health, identify slow-moving stock, and optimise working capital in line with EDG strategy.
• Develop reports and dashboards to improve transparency and accountability for financial outcomes related to supplier performance.
• Support the Senior Commercial Manager and trading teams in formulating category-specific supplier strategies that align with EDG value creation goals.
• Ensure supplier agreements are consistent with EDG strategy and that negotiated benefits are realised.
• Provide commercial data and analytics for transformation projects, such as supply chain automation and AI inventory.
• Collaborate with Trading, Supply Chain, and Finance departments to drive growth and ensure commercial objectives are understood.
• Assist the Senior Commercial Manager by preparing data-intensive presentations and action plans for executives and supplier meetings.
• Cultivate strong, data-driven partnerships with suppliers and internal agencies to ensure smooth commercial operations.
• Embody Endeavour Group's "Ways of Working" and contribute to the broader Customer Value function.

Qualifications:

We are seeking individuals with strong analytical and numerical skills, demonstrated through 3-5 years of experience in a previous analytical role. A degree qualification in commerce, accounting, economics, or finance is required. You should possess extensive experience using relational databases, with proficiency in SQL. The ability to interpret data, communicate findings effectively, and engage others through data visualisation is essential. Proven experience in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders is necessary. You must be an exceptional communicator, both verbally and in writing, and possess a strong aptitude and curiosity for problem-solving. Attention to detail is a key requirement.

Previous commercial retail experience is desirable. Experience with Tableau is desirable. An understanding of category management and buying principles, including shelf management, merchandising, ranging, and promotional and pricing strategies, is desirable.
