Designer Stone Solutions Australia P/L is seeking a motivated and reliable Trade Sales & Warehouse Store Person to join our team at our Springvale location. This is a full-time, onsite position that involves a dual role encompassing warehouse operations, trade counter sales, showroom assistance, and merchandising. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall presentation of the warehouse.

Key Details:

• Location: Springvale, Victoria
• Work Type: Full-time
• Salary: $65,000 per year
• Work Schedule: 5-day week, including Saturdays from 9am to 3pm.
• Roster: Rostered Day Off (RDO) on Fridays.
• Parking: On-site parking is available.
• Licence Requirement: A forklift licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations & Stock Management:
• Receive, unload, and safely store incoming tile stock.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch and collection.
• Maintain accurate stock locations and inventory control.
• Ensure all pallets are safely stacked, wrapped, and stored in compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
• Assist with unloading stock from trucks and consolidating stock within the warehouse.
• Tidy, replenish, and rotate warehouse stock to maintain an organised and efficient workspace.
• Assist with the ordering and replenishment of warehouse stock as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment at all times.

• Trade Sales Support:
• Serve trade customers at the counter in a professional and efficient manner.
• Process sales orders accurately using warehouse/point-of-sale systems.
• Provide product information, availability updates, and general assistance to trade customers.
• Support trade account holders with order changes and enquiries.

• Showroom & Clearance Support:
• Assist showroom and clearance centre staff during busy periods.
• Support overflow retail sales, helping customers select suitable products.
• Maintain a clean, presentable, and organised showroom environment.
• Assist with merchandising and tile display setups to ensure strong product presentation.

Skills & Experience Required:

• A current forklift licence is essential.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, trade sales, or retail role is required; experience in the tile or building industry is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• A well-presented demeanour and a customer-focused approach.
• Computer literacy, including experience with order systems, inventory management, and email communication.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and accuracy.
• A team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently when required.
