Bunnings Limited is seeking a full-time Trade Specialist to join our team at our Hoppers Crossing location. This is an onsite role.

About the Role: As a Trade Specialist at Bunnings, you will leverage your knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm to deliver an outstanding experience for our trade customers. This position offers opportunities to develop skills in building relationships, managing high-volume inventory, and logistics, while playing a vital part in contributing to the commercial growth of your warehouse. You will manage a varied client portfolio, encompassing residential builders, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other trades.

We are looking for an individual with prior experience in consulting, sales, or customer management, including experience in building relationships face-to-face or over the phone.

This role offers an adult pay rate of $30.74 per hour for individuals aged 18 and above.

Who We're Looking For: This role is ideal for individuals passionate about customer service and driven to advance their careers. It presents pathways into areas such as Quoting, Account Management, and Business Development. An interest in trade products and an understanding of how to drive sales in a retail setting are beneficial. While industry experience is a plus, we will utilise your transferable skills and provide the necessary tools for success.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service and administrative-based role is desirable.
• Good computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems, including email, quoting, and CRM software.
• Attention to detail and a professional approach.
• Confidence in reaching out to, connecting with, and communicating with customers.
• A genuine interest in trade products and a willingness to expand knowledge of products and services.
• A commitment to acting with integrity, working safely, and performing to the best of your ability.
