Trainer & Assessor CHC33021 - Work Savvy (Townsville - Contract, Onsite)
Work Savvy is looking for experienced RTO Trainers & Assessors for a contract position based in Townsville. This role involves delivering high-quality vocational training and assessment, both online and in the workplace, for the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student knowledge, skills, and competencies against nationally recognised training standards.
- Conduct workplace visits for observations.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support student learning and progress.
- Monitor student participation, engagement, and performance in online learning environments.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance, assessment outcomes, and progress.
- Support students in achieving learning goals, including providing additional guidance or resources where required.
- Ensure compliance with RTO policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASQA, Standards for RTOs).
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and industry stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including reviewing course content and assessment tools.
- Participate in professional development to maintain current knowledge of industry practices and training methods.
What We're Looking For:
- Vocational competency and currency with a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience.
- Mandatory: Candidates must have specific industry experience to demonstrate industry currency within the last 12 months.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or its successor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and support students from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to contribute to the continuous improvement of training programs.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to juggle competing priorities.
- Your own ABN & Insurances.
- A clear Police Check and WWCC will be required.
