VET - Facilitator (Contract)
This role involves delivering practical training and supervising clinical skills sessions for students undertaking vocational education and training courses at Endeavour, including the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy and Diploma of Remedial Massage. The VET Facilitator will assist students in acquiring safe, professional, and industry-aligned skills through practical demonstrations, clinical supervision, feedback, and the facilitation of simulated consultations and/or student clinic experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate practical skills sessions and practice classes for students.
- Demonstrate industry techniques, protocols, and professional practices.
- Supervise and train students during practical and simulated activities, including within the Endeavour Wellness Clinics.
- Support students in developing safe work practices, communication skills, professional behaviours, and client care techniques.
- Ensure all activities adhere to organisational policies, workplace health and safety requirements, and relevant VET standards.
- Assess and mark practical and/or theory-based student assessments according to training package and organisational requirements, within stipulated timeframes and benchmark standards.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a Diploma of Remedial Massage or a related field (e.g., Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, other comparable manual therapies qualification).
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
- A current Working with Children Check (or equivalent, such as AHPRA registration) is required prior to commencing employment.
- Two years of full-time (or equivalent) industry experience (paid or voluntary) in a relevant field.
- Current practicing membership with a relevant professional body for remedial massage practitioners, myotherapists, or soft tissue therapists.
Additional Information
This is an independent contract position. Applicants must possess their own ABN.
Saturday availability is required from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
A Working with Children Check (employee or state equivalent) is mandatory.
