Warehouse 2IC - Transition to Warehouse Manager
Conquest Recruitment Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced individual for a Warehouse 2IC role, offering a pathway to Warehouse Manager. This full-time, onsite position is located in Cheltenham. The salary range is $75,000 - $90,000 per annum, plus superannuation.

About the Opportunity
Working collaboratively with the leadership team, you will initially manage daily warehouse operations while gaining exposure to broader business responsibilities. As you integrate into the role, there will be opportunities to expand your leadership duties and develop into the Warehouse Manager position. This is a hands-on role focused on leading by example to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and workflow.
- Lead and support a small warehouse team.
- Receive and unload incoming stock and containers.
- Check, reconcile, and accurately receipt deliveries.
- Manage stock locations and warehouse organisation.
- Coordinate picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Manage freight bookings and carrier relationships.
- Assist with inventory control and stock accuracy.
- Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and presentation.
- Operate and contribute to the optimisation of the company's ERP and inventory systems.
- Identify opportunities for warehouse process and efficiency improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, 2IC, or Senior Storeperson role.
- A strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and dispatch processes.
- Natural leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and support a team.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside the team.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- A forklift licence and experience with warehouse equipment is preferred.
