Warehouse Manager
Highgrade Personnel Pty Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Manager for a full-time, onsite position in Wangara. This role is with a well-established and respected supplier to the drilling and mining industry, known for quality products and service across Western Australia.
The Warehouse Manager will lead the Wangara operation, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. This is an opportunity for an individual who enjoys leading from the front, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. The role involves overseeing a team of five and ensuring the smooth movement of stock and customer orders.
About the Role Working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, the Warehouse Manager will coordinate daily warehouse operations. Responsibilities include ensuring products are received, stored, and dispatched safely, accurately, and on time. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring a balance of team management and operational duties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of five warehouse staff.
- Coordinating daily warehouse operations, including receivals, dispatch, and inventory control.
- Scheduling and coordinating the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and inventory records.
- Processing warehouse transactions and data entry using internal systems.
- Working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Promoting a safe, organised, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiencies.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties when required.
About You The ideal candidate will confidently lead a team while maintaining a calm, approachable, and solutions-focused attitude.
Essential qualifications and experience include:
- Previous experience supervising or leading a warehouse or distribution team.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Experience managing inventory and warehouse operations.
- Sound computer skills and confidence using warehouse or ERP systems.
- Current Forklift Licence (essential).
Highly regarded:
A hands-on approach with a willingness to support the team is important. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships are also required. Experience within the drilling, mining, or industrial supply sectors is advantageous but not essential; the focus is on solid warehouse leadership experience and the right attitude.
