Versatile Group is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. This role focuses on enhancing safety, inventory precision, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness. It is a practical leadership position for an individual who thrives on developing capable teams, refining processes, and leading directly from the operational floor.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will manage the daily functions of the warehouse, encompassing inbound logistics, inventory management, order picking, packing, dispatch, and team supervision. Your role will ensure the warehouse operates with safety, efficiency, and the necessary discipline to support a expanding business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
• Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and manage cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Drive productivity, labour efficiency, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Ensure accurate picking of customer orders and timely delivery.
• Promote a robust safety culture and ensure WHS compliance.
• Coach, develop, and lead a high-performing warehouse team.
• Monitor and report on key operational performance indicators (KPIs).

About You

You will possess:

• Demonstrated experience managing a warehouse or distribution operation.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse management systems.
• A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and strong problem-solving skills.
• Sound understanding of WHS regulations.
• The capacity to lead by example and foster a culture of accountability.
