DEJ Packaging is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operations Team Member to join our growing team in Ballarat.

This is a hands-on, onsite role within a multi SKU, fast-paced warehouse environment where accuracy, productivity, and accountability are essential. The position requires picking and packing customer orders, replenishing warehouse stock locations, receiving and putting away incoming stock, operating forklifts and pickers, and maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient warehouse. This role is ideal for an individual who takes ownership of their work and can consistently maintain high accuracy and productivity while working independently throughout the day. There is room for career advancement for the suitable candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Receiving, checking, and putting away incoming stock
• Replenishing warehouse picking locations to support daily operations
• Operating forklifts safely and confidently
• Completing daily warehouse tasks with minimal supervision
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
• Ensuring customer orders are dispatched correctly and on time
• Identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations
• Taking ownership of your work and contributing to team success
• Supporting continuous improvement within the warehouse
• From time to time, there will be some deliveries.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of proven warehouse or distribution centre experience is required.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in using warehouse technology and computer systems.
• Current Forklift Licence (LF) – Essential.
• Current Medium Rigid (MR) Driver Licence – Essential.
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all warehouse processes.
• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties including lifting and moving items.
• Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 30kg as part of daily warehouse operations.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to improving operations.
• Experience in Warehouse Management Systems is advantageous but not required.
