Warehouse Operator & Sales (Balcatta, WA)
CSR Limited is seeking a full-time Warehouse Operator & Sales to join their team in Balcatta, WA. This onsite role offers attractive pay, superannuation, and CSR benefits.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Store Manager, this position at the Gyprock Trade Centre in Balcatta, WA, focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and achieving operational excellence within the store and warehouse.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to all customers in the store and warehouse.
- Managing stock movements and maintaining stock levels.
- Loading customer orders onto trucks for distribution, adhering to safety requirements.
- Unloading inbound stock orders.
- Serving customers in the warehouse, which may involve loading customer vehicles using a forklift or manually as needed.
- Ensuring adherence to documentation, labelling, and product presentation standards.
- Performing warehouse operations such as picking orders, conducting inventory counts, and general housekeeping.
- Contributing to the achievement of store revenue and margin budgets.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, with every third Saturday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. Hours worked beyond 38 hours per week, including Saturdays, will be paid at overtime rates.
What You Bring:
- A forklift licence is preferred or a willingness to obtain one.
- A strong work ethic.
- The ability to approach, connect with, and confidently interact with customers.
- An eagerness to learn about products and services.
- Computer literacy and/or familiarity with POS systems will be highly regarded.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
- Confidence and a well-presented demeanor when dealing with customers are essential.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and busy environment.
- The ability to collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.
