The Company: Our client is a highly respected, Australian-owned wholesale meat supplier. They cater to foodservice customers nationwide and engage in international export markets. Known for their premium products, exceptional service, and commitment to quality, they are experiencing significant growth and require an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for their off-site cold storage facility.

The Role: Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of an off-site refrigerated warehouse. Your duties will include ensuring efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch of products, while upholding the highest standards of inventory accuracy, food safety, and customer service.

This is a hands-on, autonomous leadership position with one direct report. It is suited for individuals who thrive on taking responsibility, leading by example, and working independently. As the role is based within a refrigerated cold storage facility, you must be comfortable working in cold temperatures throughout the day.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 4am to 1pm, allowing for early finishes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the off-site cold storage warehouse.
• Lead, support, and mentor one warehouse team member.
• Manage receivals, inventory, stock control, picking, and dispatch.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock management.
• Coordinate transport and logistics to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain HACCP, food safety, cold chain, and WHS compliance.
• Drive warehouse efficiency and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Work closely with the wider operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.

The Candidate: We seek a strong, reliable, and self-motivated warehouse professional who enjoys physically demanding environments and takes pride in efficient operations.

Ideally, you will possess:

• Previous warehouse supervisory experience within meat processing, food manufacturing, FMCG, or cold storage.
• The confidence to work autonomously and take ownership of your warehouse.
• Strong inventory management and warehouse systems experience.
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and support your team.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A strong work ethic with the ability to perform physical warehouse duties.
• Comfort working in refrigerated and cold storage environments throughout your shift.
• A current Forklift Licence is preferred.
• A sound understanding of HACCP, food safety, and workplace health and safety requirements.
