As our operations grow, we are preparing to relocate to a purpose-built facility in Eastern Creek in September 2026. This presents an exciting opportunity to join our team and play a significant role in shaping warehouse operations during a period of substantial growth and transformation.
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage warehouse operations across our current Smithfield and Marsden Park sites, ahead of our move to the new Eastern Creek facility.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations. The role ensures accurate inventory management, efficient stock movement, and adherence to established warehouse processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will lead a team of warehouse employees, drive operational performance, maintain inventory accuracy, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business. You will also conduct daily stand-up huddles, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide operational updates to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Inbound / Outbound Operations & Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
- Ensure all stock is receipted, checked, and processed accurately and on time.
- Ensure manifests and all outbound delivery documentation are accurate and complete.
- Drive team performance against KPI, productivity, and quality targets.
- ERP & Inventory Control (Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
- Accurately process all inventory transactions within Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Maintain system accuracy and stock integrity through regular cycle counting and inventory control activities.
- Perform stock checks, audits, and reconciliation activities.
- Process Compliance & Quality
- Enforce adherence to SOPs, warehouse processes, and workflow controls.
- Identify and correct process deviations.
- Ensure documentation and reporting standards are consistently maintained.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Drive a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
- Use data and performance metrics to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Discrepancies & Supplier Coordination
- Manage damaged, short, or incorrect deliveries.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- General Warehouse Support
- Oversee put-away, stock rotation, and location management.
- Support dispatch and wider warehouse operations.
- Maintain WHS compliance and promote a safe working environment.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, or 2IC.
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Strong inventory control knowledge.
- Experience using RF scanning systems.
- Demonstrated focus on process compliance and continuous improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Current Forklift Licence (LF).
- Sound understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
