Every truckload begins with the correct order. Behind every fresh delivery is an individual who ensured the figures were accurate, suppliers were notified, and the warehouse possessed precisely what it required. This is where you fit in.

As a member of our Wholesale Support team, you will be central to our wholesale purchasing operation. Your responsibilities will include coordinating daily produce orders, conveying purchasing directives to growers and agents, processing customer orders, and upholding precise data across our internal systems.

This is a part-time role. The shift commences at 5:30 pm and concludes upon completion of the work. Flexibility and reliability are essential, as finishing times fluctuate with the daily volume of produce ordered. This is not a sales or warehouse picking position. It is an operational support role where organisation, attention to detail, and clear communication are paramount. What You Will Do

• Assist the Wholesale Manager with daily purchasing and order coordination.
• Prepare and communicate accurate purchase instructions to produce agents.
• Download and process customer orders into internal purchasing systems.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and product information.
• Perform timely data entry to ensure system information remains current and reliable.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues before they affect warehouse operations.
• Communicate order updates and purchasing changes with internal stakeholders.
• Respond promptly to supplier and warehouse enquiries.
• Escalate supply issues or unusual purchasing trends when required.
• Adhere to warehouse safety procedures and company compliance standards at all times.

About You

We are seeking an individual who appreciates detail, thrives in a dynamic environment, and understands the significant impact of minor errors. You will also possess:

• Previous experience in administration, purchasing, wholesale support, or warehouse operations.
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Confidence using computer systems and data entry software.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to compose clear, concise emails.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
• A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
• The capacity to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Experience within fresh produce, food distribution, or wholesale operations is advantageous but not essential.
• Availability to work evening shifts commencing at 5:30 pm.
