WHS Administrator
Michael Page is seeking a WHS Administrator for a contract position based onsite in Armadale.
This role offers an opportunity to apply administrative skills within the Public Sector, providing crucial support to Work Health and Safety operations. You will be part of a Secretarial & Business Support department within an organisation dedicated to delivering essential services to a growing community. Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance to the Work Health and Safety team.
- Maintain precise records and documentation pertaining to WHS activities and compliance.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence for both internal and external parties.
- Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and safety audits.
- Monitor and update WHS policies and procedures as needed.
- Address WHS-related inquiries and offer assistance to staff.
- Ensure adherence to applicable WHS legislation and standards.
- Contribute to cultivating a safety-conscious culture within the organisation.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative capacity within the Public Sector or a comparable industry.
- Familiarity with Work Health and Safety practices and legislation.
- Strong organisational and time management capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other pertinent software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A proactive approach and the capacity to operate both independently and collaboratively.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in WHS or a related area are desirable.
- A valid WA Police Clearance is required.
Job Offer:
- This is a 6-month full-time contract role, with the possibility of extension.
