A leading international investment firm seeks a Workplace / Office Manager to drive operational excellence and oversee the Sydney office. This newly created position offers the chance to join a globally recognised private investment organisation that views the growth and development of its people as a primary driver of success.
In this role, you will serve as the central point of coordination across the business, overseeing office operations, leading the executive support team, and contributing significantly to firm-wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Oversee recruitment, performance management, and workflow allocation for the executive assistant team.
- Project and Initiative Management:
- Coordinate meetings and offsites, manage agendas and budgets, and ensure follow-up on key actions.
- Office Operations Oversight:
- Maintain a high-performing, compliant, and well-equipped office environment.
- Act as the key liaison with building management and external vendors.
- HR Support Activities:
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, recruitment processes, and local benefits coordination.
- Financial Operations Management:
- Oversee office expenses and work closely with finance on local reporting and processes.
- IT Requirements Coordination:
- Support IT vendor management and the systems onboarding of new employees.
About You:
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar business, operations, or office management role.
- Experience within financial services will be highly regarded.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
- You are a proactive, solutions-focused professional with a strong service mindset.
- You possess excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environment.
