This is a full-time, onsite position based in Melbourne CBD, working Monday to Friday.
The Firm A leading national law firm with a strong presence across various commercial practice areas, including employment, corporate, litigation, energy and resources, and commercial real estate. The firm operates from modern offices conveniently located near public transport.
The Role This position is central to the firm's daily operations, ensuring seamless backend support. Key responsibilities include:
- Document Production and Binding: Formatting legal documents, undertaking bulk printing, and preparing court and trial bundles.
- Court Filing and Deliveries: Managing electronic and in-person document filings, and coordinating urgent deliveries to courts, barristers, and other firms.
- Meeting Room and Events Support: Setting up and resetting meeting rooms, and providing assistance with internal and client events.
- Office and Supplies Management: Maintaining inventory of supplies such as paper, printer ink, stationery, and kitchen items, and coordinating courier services.
- Operational Support: Assisting with tasks including archiving, shredding, filing, and office relocations.
- Facilities and Coordination: Collaborating with the Office Manager, supporting OHS requirements, and liaising with building management.
This is a hands-on role with varied daily tasks, contributing directly to the firm's effective operation.
About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Previous experience in a similar office support or workroom capacity, preferably within a law firm or professional services setting.
- Strong attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple tasks without compromising quality.
- A proactive and practical approach, with a willingness to take ownership of daily office operations.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels.
- Reliability and a commitment to working onsite five days per week in the Melbourne CBD.
