Yardsperson - Sci-Fleet Motors - Brendale

Sci-Fleet Motors, a family-owned and operated local business with over 40 years of service across South East QLD, seeks a Yardsperson to join its Pre-Delivery team at the Brendale site. Sci-Fleet Motors is recognised as one of the largest organisations in the motor vehicle industry, employing over 1,000 staff and operating multiple Toyota, Lexus, and Hino dealerships throughout Australia, including the Mount Gravatt Mazda dealership which manages all facets of motoring including Parts, Service, Finance, and Insurance.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Pre-Delivery team, your duties will include:

• Ensuring all vehicles are processed quickly and efficiently.
• Maintaining equipment and stock.
• Correctly parking vehicles, moving them to designated areas, and to sublets as required.
• Receiving and inspecting vehicles arriving from port.
• Assisting other department members with vehicle deliveries.
• Safely moving vehicles within the dealership site and workshop.
• Ensuring all vehicles are parked and locked at the close of business.
• Securing keys in provided safes at all times.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures, with a focus on Workplace Health and Safety.
• Washing and cleaning vehicles as needed.

Requirements:

• Competent driver.
• A high attention to detail and a good work ethic.
• Ability to make prompt and correct decisions while meeting deadlines.
• Hold a current and valid manual driver's license (Queensland).
• Intermediate PC skills.
