Assessing Manager Budget Direct Sunshine

This full-time, onsite position involves leading, developing, and driving the Assessing Business through a team of technical, process, and customer service specialists. The objective is to achieve market-leading cost capabilities by applying Auto & General’s Repair Method and Assessing Quality Assurance Framework.

Responsibilities include:

• Celebrating successes while promoting a high-performance culture.
• Serving as an escalation point for complex complaints and managing team and supplier referrals.
• Coaching and mentoring the team by building individual relationships, setting clear goals, providing constructive feedback, and fostering learning opportunities.
• Acting as a role model by demonstrating company values and influencing their application within the team.
• Representing the Leadership Team and demonstrating self-management and positive influence on others.
• Leading the team to meet organisational expectations for quality business results.
• Assisting team members in connecting their daily work to Auto & General’s purpose.

Experience to bring:

• Leadership experience, encompassing both direct leadership and thought leadership through stakeholder influence beyond direct reports.
• Analytical skills, a high level of problem-solving ability, and systems thinking.
• Capacity to lead innovation and change, with personal resilience.
• Experience and knowledge of the motor body repair industry.
• Demonstrated ability to acquire and apply new learning to enhance business performance.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and possess excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet service delivery expectations, coupled with commercial acumen.
• A valid Driver’s licence and a relevant Trade qualification.
